Your Team. Your Choice. Choose Salem Health.

Salem Health does more than provide high quality patient care. It is an organization that commits itself to empowering teams to create, innovate, and dream. We are looking for individuals who can challenge the status quo, raise the bar, and embrace change.

At Salem Health, we want trailblazers, self-starters, and creative thinkers to drive improvement in the health care arena where “patient-centered” is more than just words.

    Description/Qualifications

Located in the heart of Oregon’s spectacular Willamette Valley, the midwives of Salem Health Medical Group (SHMG) at Salem Health provide full scope midwifery care including prenatal, delivery, postpartum and well woman care. The practice environment is highly collaborative and deeply connected to our community. SHMG Midwives, an integral part of Salem Health’s team of employed healthcare providers, currently has an opening for a fulltime CNM to join our existing team of five full-time and three part-time CNMs. Ideal candidates are those with a track record of delivering high quality midwifery care while supporting and strengthening the entire care team.

The midwife position would be full scope. The midwives cover two clinic locations: one at Salem Health and one at the new Woodburn clinic location (opening January 2020). The call shifts are 12-24 hours depending on need. We do need the person to be within 20 minutes of the hospital during the call shift. For our CNMs that live outside of Salem, it requires staying in house during the call shift. The hospital has sleep rooms available for the CNMs.

You may be a qualified candidate if you:

    • Hold a Master’s degree, current/active DEA licensure and Oregon state licensure.
    • Have at least two (2) years experience as full scope CNM.

Preference may be given to candidates who:

    • Are bilingual English/Spanish.
    • Have experience with in-patient EPIC medical records system.

Join our incredible team of professionals who are consistently meeting the challenges of achieving clinical quality second to none, service that exceeds expectations and performance that sustains our mission. That’s why Salem Hospital is a Magnet®-recognized facility.

    Closing

As a leader in the local industry, Salem Health offers a generous total rewards package, an empowering culture, and a commitment to the development and growth of our in-house talent.
