Your Team. Your Choice. Choose Salem Health.
Salem Health does more than provide high quality patient care. It is an organization that commits itself to empowering teams to create, innovate, and dream. We are looking for individuals who can challenge the status quo, raise the bar, and embrace change.
At Salem Health, we want trailblazers, self-starters, and creative thinkers to drive improvement in the health care arena where “patient-centered” is more than just words.
Salem Health is Salem's largest private employer with more than 4,900 employees and an active medical staff of 770 providers. Salem Hospital, a not-for-profit hospital, is one of Oregon's largest acute-care hospitals, is home to the busiest ER on the West Coast, and is licensed for 494 acute-care beds.
We are seeking experienced Neonatologists to join our established hospital-based Neonatology team in a shift capacity. The NICU utilizes a Family Integrated Care (FIC) model where parents are educated and encouraged to participate in the care of their baby, with support from the interdisciplinary care team. As active Vermont Oxford Network participants, we are dedicated to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research, as these elements are crucial to our culture of quality and safety. The Neonatology team is a critical part of our culture overseeing the safety of hospitalized newborns with 3400 births per year. Our Level III NICU is staffed with 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Neonatologists.
