    Salem Health is seeking an experienced, full time clinician to join our Gynecological Oncology team. The provider will work with a close-knit team to manage a variety of diagnostic techniques and management procedures, such as surgery on reproductive organs, radiation therapy and chemotherapy.


    The Gyn/Onc team provides clinic coverage Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with Surgery on Wednesdays. There are 4 treatment rooms in clinic (includes one bariatric room).


    The Gynecological Oncology Clinic provides evidence based, compassionate and caring services to patients in our community and surrounding region. Our services include New Patient consults, surveillance for GYN ONC patients, Surgery, and Chemotherapy. We have 4 Gyn/Onc physicians via contract with OHSU providing ~1 FTE in coverage and sharing call coverage, 1 full time Gyn/Onc trained Nurse Practitioner, 2 nationally certified Oncology Certified Nurses (OCN), Operation Specialists to help room and intake patients, as well as a Referral Specialist to assist with insurance authorizations. The GYN ONC clinic works in collaboration with other providers including the Salem Health Medical Group – Surgery and Gynecology Clinics.

    • Graduate from an approved school of medicine.
    • Completion of an accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.
    • Completion of an accredited fellowship program in gynecologic oncology.
    • Recent clinical performance and competence with an active practice in Gynecology/Oncology.
    • Current unrestricted Oregon medical license.
    • Current unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number.
    • Board certified or Board admissible by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Gyn/Onc. If Board admissible, certification must be achieved within 5 years of employment start date.
